The Story Weaver - How your words and story impact your grief

Grief can be lonely. Sometimes what we need most is a safe place to speak about the person we’ve lost and know that someone is truly listening and understanding what our grief looks and feels like. But this circle offers more.

The Story Weaver Grief Circle is a sacred, intimate three-week gathering for up to 12 people who are grieving the death of someone they love. Together, we create space to speak, listen, feel witnessed and honour our loss.  The invitation is to be radically honest.

Facilitated by Janelle Fletcher — grief guide, celebrant and founder of Bold Women Speak— this is more than simply telling your story. We will notice what we are saying, how those words shape our experience of grief, and to explore new and more empowering ways of holding our story while continuing to grieve and love at the same time.

There is no right way to grieve. This circle honours the complexity of loss while offering both reflection and uplifting moments.  The circle is open to men and women grieving the death of a baby or child, sibling, parent, grandparent, partner, friend, or someone you’ve cared for.

As part of October’s Mental Health Awareness Month with the theme of Belonging Matters, the circle also offers an opportunity to build meaningful local connections.  A commitment to all three gatherings is important in creating the trust and intimacy this circle requires.  Janelle welcomes you with fun and open heartedness.

Free event. Janelle’s 2x books for sale. Words that Change the World and Stories that Touch the Heart.
