This ain’t just any wedding or elopement. It’s honouring two fabulous individuals -  YOU - and vibing in your vibe!

When it comes to weddings, it’s not just about getting legalities over and done with and partying on down.  The ceremony is pretty darn important and sets the tone for your celebration.

It’s about me weaving your common (or not so common threads!) of who you are into a meaningful and highly memorable ceremony that fits into the tone and theme you’ve chosen for your big day, and that tells your story.  Yes, I’m well-known as a storyteller! You know that fun proposal moment, your twist-and-turns love story, the ring-research fun (or stress), and your personality quirks that make you the fabulous combo you are.

In essence, it’s not a ceremony “out of a book” where you could slot the couple’s names (yours!) into a pre-formatted, ai-generated or cut and paste wedding ceremony template, but I assure you, your ceremony is bespoke a.k.a – nothing like it – vibrant, creative and “totally you!”

Why me?  My magic is being a multi-talented celebrant. 

Not every celebrant has my “mix”.  I have a tonne of ceremony planning, presenting and writing skills.  A vibrant and creative MC, published author, speaker, and experience in TV and radio ad presenting, your wedding will have that special energy.  And I have a way with words where you’ll smile for sure and perhaps even shed a tear or two!  That also makes for fabulous spontaneous and natural photos!

People know me as a people-engager with pizazz, professionalism and personality. Your guests aren’t just spectators watching on. I make sure they feel included and remember your ceremony as something special indeed.  They will go away knowing something about you they never knew and they’ll be grateful you brought them to the spot you did to celebrate big-time, or small if you’re going intimate.

And as for you, you’ll be reeling in knowing everything about the ceremony – from vows, symbols, sentiments, music choice, and special things – “felt like you!”

What if your first language is not English?

Ta-dah.  Teacher of English as a second language, a language learner, and my world-wide travel experiences help me write a ceremony and engage with non-English speaking couples with ease.  Not every celebrant can do that! Choice of words, speed, tone, gestures…come second-nature to me.  Fun, fun, fun. 

I speak German and have a growing confidence with French thanks to my French hubby and recent Europe travels. My other language-speaking couples appreciate that I’m relatable, understandable and super-friendly - much like a caring “mother-duck” who makes them feel like they’ve got “family” even when they’re miles away from home.

I’ve had the joy of marrying couples from 17 different countries -  Australia, NZ, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, England, USA, Canada, Chile, Argentina, China, Lithuania, Malaysia, Singapore, Netherlands, Hong Kong and Thailand.  Big shout-out to globe-trotters!
